Her husband and children wanted to surprise her with a special celebration of her seventy-fifth birthday in an intimate setting.
The foundation for this event was simple: a dinner at a treasured local Italian restaurant surrounded by closest friends and family that honors the life of this incredible woman.

But it was a trip to Italy and the first time she tasted limoncello that became the ideation for this celebratory evening.
From the Galapagos Archipelago to the Souks of Marrakech, Judy has been on many adventures around the globe.

With the Colorful Memory in Mind, I Designed
an Italian-Inspired Event
The invitation suite set the tone for this honorary dinner. It provided a taste of the venue - rustic Italian - while also feeling clean and modern.
A custom-designed Italian tile motif became the accent for the invitation and a theme to nod back to throughout additional details.

The celebration took place at a restaurant and the unique details created by Chandon didn't go unnoticed. Many patrons stopped to comment on how beautiful everything looked. It was such a memorable evening.
Handmade limoncellos served not only as place cards
but also as a take-home token to toast to the evening at a later date.
A Bespoke Tablescape for a Unique Celebration
Finally, the evening’s menus called back to the tile motif featured in the invitation. They were finished with a hand-sewn label and leather loop for effortless viewing.
Herbs and flowers nestled in antique pots lined a hand-embroidered runner. The gentle fragrance of fresh-cut greens greeted the guests as they took their seats
So much joy, love, and laughter swept through the celebration, it was palpable.
