Tina and Geoffrey’s Villa Yara wedding was a joyful summer celebration filled with vibrant color, eclectic details, and deeply personal touches. They exchanged vows just down the street at St. Paul’s Parish before inviting their guests to dine, drink, and dance at one of Georgetown’s most distinctive venues.
Tina chose a modern, sculptural gown and carried a timeless bouquet of white blooms; her wedding-day style perfectly reflected the celebration itself—polished and sophisticated, but never predictable.
Tina and Geoffrey exchanged vows at St. Paul’s Parish, located just down the street from Villa Yara. The ceremony setting was especially meaningful because Geoffrey’s mother had served as a longtime pastor at the parish.
Rather than leaning into a traditional wedding aesthetic, we embraced the personality already present within Villa Yara. Vibrant colors and playful details complemented the space, creating an atmosphere that felt modern and thoughtfully collected while remaining relaxed and welcoming.
Bright orange fans inspired by Tina and Geoffrey’s time in Saint-Tropez were wrapped in personalized mauve sleeves to double as place cards. Both beautiful and practical, they added a playful pop of color and a meaningful nod to the couple’s travels.
The relaxed atmosphere was exactly what Tina and Geoffrey had envisioned. There was laughter, movement, and an unmistakable sense that everyone felt completely at home.
Jisoo Cake Design created a beautifully understated tiered cake. Its crisp, vertically textured finish was adorned with asymmetrical clusters of peach, burgundy, and pink flowers that echoed the reception florals. Earl Grey, cardamom, orange, pistachio, and baklava flavors offered a final sweet note to the dinner.
As the evening continued, Aperol Spritzes were poured and the energy shifted from an intimate dinner to a lively celebration. Guests filled the dance floor, orange fans in hand, while DJ Tonia Saba kept the party moving.
From the meaningful ceremony at St. Paul’s Parish to the colorful courtyard dinner and energetic dance floor at Villa Yara, every part of Tina and Geoffrey’s wedding felt connected to who they are.
Their celebration was modern, eclectic, and beautifully layered—but above all, it was personal, joyful, and entirely their own.
